Especialmente para un tejido empresarial donde el 95% son microempresas con recursos limitados.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Pero hay otra pregunta que se formula mucho menos: \u00bfcu\u00e1nto cuesta no adaptarse?<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Una cifra que lo contextualiza todo<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La DANA de octubre de 2024 gener\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 300 millones de euros de p\u00e9rdidas directas en el sector hostelero. Cientos de establecimientos con da\u00f1os en instalaciones, p\u00e9rdida masiva de mercanc\u00eda, cierres prolongados. Muchos de ellos sin cobertura aseguradora adecuada para este tipo de eventos.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">No fue un caso excepcional e irrepetible. Fue la materializaci\u00f3n de un riesgo que los modelos clim\u00e1ticos llevan a\u00f1os proyectando: mayor frecuencia e intensidad de episodios de precipitaci\u00f3n extrema, m\u00e1s d\u00edas con temperaturas extremas, mayor presi\u00f3n h\u00eddrica en los territorios con mayor concentraci\u00f3n hostelera.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Cada episodio tiene un coste. Los m\u00e1s visibles, los que activan los seguros cuando existe cobertura.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La segunda es el incremento estructural de costes operativos. Las olas de calor aumentan el consumo energ\u00e9tico de climatizaci\u00f3n. Las sequ\u00edas incrementan los precios de materias primas clave. Estos costes no se generan en un episodio puntual: se acumulan temporada a temporada, erosionando los m\u00e1rgenes de un sector que ya opera con rentabilidad ajustada.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La tercera, y la m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de contabilizar, es la p\u00e9rdida de competitividad del destino. Un destino que sufre episodios clim\u00e1ticos recurrentes sin capacidad de respuesta visible desarrolla un problema reputacional acumulativo. La percepci\u00f3n de inseguridad o de deterioro de las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas puede afectar a las decisiones de viaje durante temporadas enteras. Para el sector hostelero, que depende del flujo tur\u00edstico, ese impacto tiene consecuencias econ\u00f3micas\u00a0reales,\u00a0aunque no aparezca en ning\u00fan balance.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La adaptaci\u00f3n tiene retorno<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Las medidas de adaptaci\u00f3n que el sector puede adoptar como eficiencia energ\u00e9tica, gesti\u00f3n del agua, protecci\u00f3n de instalaciones, sistemas de alerta temprana, planes de contingencia operativos,\u00a0etc, no son s\u00f3lo defensivas. Tienen retornos directos: reducci\u00f3n de costes operativos, menor tiempo de recuperaci\u00f3n tras un episodio adverso, mejora del confort de clientes y trabajadores.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Y tienen un retorno estrat\u00e9gico de mayor alcance. Los mercados tur\u00edsticos emisores (especialmente los del norte de Europa) que generan una parte determinante de la demanda hacia destinos espa\u00f1oles son cada vez m\u00e1s sensibles a la percepci\u00f3n del riesgo clim\u00e1tico en sus destinos de viaje.
